While shopping for propellers or carbon tubes, rods etc. I observed additional packaging in my shopping cart for example (BOX-379g — Extra Length Cardboard Box and Packing). As per HobbyKing this package is added to guarantee you will receive your parcel with no damage. So while the item that requires additional package is in your shopping cart the package will remain in the cart too.

The only one thing I don't like is that additional packaging has additional weight. As a result the price for delivery will be automatically increased.
On the RCSearch merchandise description has also information about additional mandatory packaging if applicable and the total weight of the item including this additional packaging. Here you can see an example.



Please be aware that search result by the weight of the product will not consider the weight of the additional packaging. The purpose of this is that you might already have one "Extra Length Cardboard Box and Packing" in your shopping cart and just looking to fill the rest of the space with additional items. All the information about the packaging will be displayed beside the item and you make the final decision.

How to add BACKORDER item to the shopping cart?

Some items can not be placed in the shopping cart when out of stock.

If you don’t like to hear the expression: “Sorry No Rainchecks” these instructions will help you to use SALE price and place an order anyway.

In a sutuation like this you are more than welcome to:

• Browse RCSearch.info catalogue
• Find an item you would like to order
• Open details of this item
• Click on the shopping cart (may require repeting last two steps)

 

Now you can pay for your order and wait for the item from backorder to be delivered to your door.

There is a quantity limit of 3 when you order an item using buddy code. Also this buddy code won't work on your next purchase. If you would like to order the same item feel free to use another buddy code for your next order:

In the situation when merchandise has only one buddy code you can ask your relative to order it using their name.

Often looking for merchandise on the RcSearc you would have to copy name of the item from the HobbyKing or Product ID. Now Web ID can be used also. Just type in the search field symbol # following by the Web ID for the item you are looking for.

 

So for now our search engine can search by:

• Web ID (using symbol #)
• Product ID
• Product name or it's partial input
• Weight of the item (using letter g after the number) this request will return all items that do not exceed the weight you just entered. Very useful option when you need to fill up the weight of your parcel.
• Advanced search gives you a variety of search options (size, voltage, amp's, etc.) Also you can use specific search for Batteries, Servos, Motors, Props.
