Description
The HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor uses sonar to determine distance to an object - just like bats or dolphins do. This module offers excellent range accuracy and stable readings in an easy-to-use package. Its operation is not affected by sunlight or black material (although acoustically soft materials like cloth can be difficult to detect).
The HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor is an affordable proximity/distance sensor that can be used for object avoidance in various applications from robotics to multi-rotors. The module has integral ultrasonic transmitters, receiver and control circuit and is for use in conjunction with Ardupilot Mega or PixFalcon PX4 boards.
