Description

The HKS Opel Vectra competed in the 1995 Japan Touring Car Championships and took 4th place overall, including 1st place finishes at Rd.7, Rd.10, and Rd.12 with British driver Anthony Reid at the wheel. Tamiya originally released the Opel Vectra as a 1/10 scale R/C model in 1995 on the front wheel drive FF-01 chassis, and it has now been reproduced as a limited edition model on the modern FF-03 chassis.

The FF-03 chassis, is the the latest touring car chassis kit in the Tamiya line-up. The FF-03 chassis features a horizontally placed front-motor, front-wheel drive and comes enhanced with a range of high performance parts which deliver a completely new driving experience.

Due to its unique chassis layout and FWD setup, you can enjoy a style of driving different from 4WD vehicles. The chassis features a newly designed lower deck and comes with a compact front gearbox.

Suspension is equipped with short reversible suspension arms and toughened uprights on the inboard front suspension setup. The Opel Vectras high-spec parts include TRF dampers, aluminum turnbuckle shafts, and aluminum ball connectors are also included in the kit.
