Description

The Tamiya 1/10 XV is a 1/10 scale model of the Subaru introduced to the crossover SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) market in September 2012. The polycarbonate body accurately reproduces the car's stylish form, including the distinctive indentations on the bonnet and the raised area that stretches from the nose to the tail.

The model faithfully replicates the SUV-styles modern fenders. The unique wheel design is depicted using decals, and the model features racing radial tires with realistic tread patterns.

The XV-01 chassis offers exciting R/C driving action on both tarmac and gravel surfaces. It features a forward mounted motor, belt-driven 4WD layout with the gearboxes, drive belt, battery, and the electronics bay areas are protected from the elements by plastic covers.

Cut away sections in the bottom of the chassis further help remove any debris which manages to get on board, ensuring unhindered off-road performance. Long steering linkage provides stable wheel alignment.

In addition, detachable wheel well liners help prevent mud and gravel intrusion. The differential Gear boxes enable customization with different viscosity's of differential oils.
