Description

The first full size Dimona motor gliders were introduced in the early 1980s, first from Hoffmann Flugzeugbau, then over the years transitioning to Diamond Aircraft Industries. In that time the Dimona's have evolved, housing a variety of power plant options. Its all molded fiberglass airframe sported folding wings for easy storage and docile flight performance.

Our model of the Super Dimona arrives as a fully molded EPO foam airframe. The entire airframe bolts together, which means no messy glue, or cure time. Even the control rods and control horns are pre-installed for you. Speaking of control rods, the Super Dimona has ball link style rod ends for all surfaces give you a precise, slop free control feel.

As the wing span is quite large, the Super Dimona features a two piece plug-in wing. The nice thing about this model is that the main landing gear is still mounted to the fuselage, making transport and storage much easier. Access your battery and receiver through the large removable canopy which is secured with a nice spring loaded latch.

Flying the Super Dimona is quite fun and relaxing. The large wing means it takes off quickly, and when throttling back will cruise around nicely. The steerable nose wheel makes ground handling very easy, making touch and go landings a blast. Its a nice relaxed flyer, with great scale looks, a must have for your hangar.
