The Apollo 1550 offers a great way to get into DLG gliding without spending a fortune on a full composite model!

DLG gliding is a blast, and this inexpensive model opens the door to those who are interested in giving it a try without breaking the bank in the process. The Apollo not only looks great, it flies great as well. The large wing area is perfect for gliding, while its unique construction offers the perfect combination of weight savings and strength.

The Apollo's wing and stabs are constructed from lightweight balsa/ply and arrive pre-covered. The fuselage pod and tail boom are made of fiberglass and are very nicely finished. The elevator/rudder push rods and servo tray are pre-installed to keep build time to a minimum. You will simply need to add your own servos (9g x 4), receiver battery and 4CH radio system.

Quick to build, nice to look at and easy on the pocket, the perfect combination for your first DLG model!
