Italeri 1/48 Scale Hawk T1A "Red Arrows" Plastic Model Kit

Description

Build your static model fleet with the 1/48 scale Red Arrows Hawk T1A. The Hawk T Mk 1 was developed by Hawker Siddeley (now BAE Systems) to equip the Royal Air Force training department in the second half of the 1970’s.

Since 1980, thanks to its performance qualities which were enhanced by the Rolls Royce Adour engine and its incredible manoeuvrability the Hawk was selected by the R.A.F. “Red Arrows” aerobatic team. The aircraft is the same model as the one used by the Royal Air Force for training, with greatly improved systems to deliver even quicker command response times.
Smoke generators were designed and fitted to the Red Arrows version of the Hawk which are used extensively during their routines.

Since their inception in 1965, the Red Arrows have performed at 4500 air displays in over 52 countries, becoming the most famous aerobatic team in the world.

The Italeri range of kits are manufactured from tough styrene plastic and provide a high level of scale detail.
