Yak 54 Scale Aerobat Balsa 1854mm (ARF)
8514 g
Description
The Yak 54 was a competition aerobatic plane developed in the early 1990's by the Yakovlev design bureau. It was a evolution of the Yak 55M. It has become a favorite among modelers due to its excellent flight characteristics for traditional aerobatics along with more extreme 3D maneuvers.
This Yak 54 30cc aerobatic model is constructed from plywood and balsa with a fiber glass cowl and wheel pants. Finished with attention to detail the model is covered in quality covering film and includes carbon fiber landing gear, carbon spinner, CNC cut control horn and servo arms, pull-pull rudder hardware, and ball links all around. The two piece plug-in wing panels makes this Yak 54 quite easy to break down for transport.
To complete the Yak 54, you will need to supply a 30CC gas engine, 6 standard size high torque servos, 4+ channel radio, CA and Epoxy glue, propeller, receiver battery and some miscellaneous building tools.
This model is a stand out performer, we were impressed with the finish and the quality of the hardware pack. If you love 3D flying then the Yak 54 will have you out doing torque rolls, yo-yos, harriers and waterfalls without missing a beat!
