Description

The Maestro 46 is the sort of traditional low wing trainer/sport club model that quite rightly has been a popular choice with club flyers for years, the Maestro retains all of the qualities that makes this type of model so much fun to fly and own, but is updated by offering a choice of power train, traditional glow or modern electric flight.

Weight saving for excellent performance has been an integral part of the design of the Maestro, the fuselage, wing and tail are semi-sheeted traditional balsa/light-ply construction which also offers strength and the expertly applied covering offers a scheme which is excellent for orientation. The Maesto is fast and easy to assemble and comes with all the hardware required including an electric motor mount and a fuel tank & engine mount for those wanting to stick with glow power. The Maestro is very practical as you would expect and features a removable wing, a quick access battery/fuel tank hatch, robust tricycle landing gear, decent sized wheels for grass strips and of course, nose-wheel steering.

Low wing sport models like this have a reputation for flying well, being robust and cheap to build, on all three counts, the Maestro does not disappoint! If you are looking for a practical, every day model that is aerobatic & fun yet has impeccable manners and offers excellent bang for your buck, the Maestro is it!
