The D58-4 receiver supports "Diversity Mode", meaning one receiver with 4 different polarized antennas or 4 different types of antenna to compare and switch between automatically for receiving the best video signal.  

It is the ultimate solution when you have two high gain directional antennas or one stock antenna with one high gain antenna installed to a D58-4 receiver. In addition, if you have an auto antenna tracker, these receivers are a must for your antenna tracker!

Serious FPV pilots can use this to achieve 360 degree coverage, or just additional safety by combining four antennae with different characteristics, such as 3 x patch + 1 x cloverleaf. This is a set up which will give you pretty much the best wireless video link you can get.
