Description

This lovely little DLG has a slight warp on the trailing edge of the left wing that looks like it should be easy to remove using a gentle application of steam from a kettle spout then clamping it straight until thoroughly dry.

The Bobolink DLG 1M glider has been specially designed for Discus Launch glider enthusiasts who want a high quality well made competive glider but it is also perfect for a first DLG glider due to its toughness and great handling qualities. It has a modified HN1033 thin airfoil which was designed to allow superb high launches, air penetration, excellent handling and extra long glide time.
The Bobolink 1M is supplied in kit form and is reasonably easy to construct but a few modelling skills are required, it can be built with standard dihedral or with polyhedral, this does require the builder to modify the wing himself.
The manufacturers of this model use only the highest quality hand picked balsa, composite materials and seamless black poplar veneer wood sheeting to construct these flying works of art. The Bobolink DLG 1M is the culmination of years of experience and design and its light wing loading, durability, toughness and great flight characteristics make it perfect for launching and flying in small area's.

For best results when finishing the wings and tail use the special lacquer which is shown in related items, easy to use for that professional finish.
